This past week I was blessed with the awesome opportunity of getting to work along side a team from Mississippi, to build a house for Geraldo and Brenda and their soon to be born daughter Leah Valentin. The team did an awesome job and got the house up in about 2.5 days and were very generous and blessed the family with a small table and chairs, an adorable little highchair for the baby along with a bunch of other goodies for the expecting couple. Thanks Vancleve Team for all you've done and Thank God for giving us the privilege to love on this wonderful family!

So the past few weeks have been a lot of fun. I've had a great time getting to know all the interns here for the summer. We really do have an awesome group of people. First team of the Summer arrived yesterday.Yay! Tomorrow I get to lead half the team to build a house for the daughter of Ligia (one of our cooks) so this will be fun. I can't wait to get messy! Pray that God will hold back the rain till we at least get the roof up and that this team will have an amazing week!

In between the lines
“I was wondering”, (said Jill) – “I
mean-could there be some mistake? Because nobody called me and Scrubb,
you know. It was we who asked to come here. Scrubb said we were to call
to–Somebody–t was a name I wouldn’t know–and perhaps the Somebody would
let us in. And we did, and then we found the door open.”
“You would not have called to me unless I had been calling to you,” said the Lion.
“Then you are somebody, Sir?” said Jill.
“I am”, said Aslan.
